About The Position

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Prepares research proposals with detailed rationale, background data, and proposed methods and organization. Designs and writes programs to perform analysis and produces written reports on results. Collects pilot data to help support new and competing renewal applications. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Maintains data files and conducts data analysis. Drafts and publishes manuscripts and articles for peer-reviewed journals. Prepares and submits grant applications. Designs, executes, interprets, and integrates scientific data. Presents research findings at local and national scientific conferences. CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: MD or Ph.D. in relevant field Certification and Licensing: Not Applicable Experience: Must be working as a resident or fellow in University of Miami program. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
