Research Scholar
About The Position
Serves as a Research Scholar on a multi-scholar research initiative in the interdisciplinary translational research program that is seamlessly integrated with research, training, and mentoring in several areas of translational sciences with pre-clinical and clinical scientists. Reports directly to Dr. Devendra K. Agrawal, Professor and Director, Department of Translational Research. Will be trained and mentored while working with Dr. Agrawal in maintaining the research laboratories and in the conduct of the assigned research projects. May have lead responsibility for discrete research components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
Requirements
- M. D. or Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a discipline of health sciences, with a minimum of 1-year research experience with a demonstrated record of research productivity.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in a health science field, plus at least 4 years of relevant post-master’s research experience, will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the research laboratories

- Lead responsibility for discrete research components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher.
