About The Position

The Voluntary Corporate Actions- Asset Servicing will oversee the accurate and timely processing of corporate action events (e.g., dividends, mergers, spin-offs, tender offers, and proxy voting) for institutional clients. This role requires strong leadership, risk management, and operational expertise to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. This role will manage a team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Corporate Actions processing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in asset management, investment banking, or global custodial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 15022/20022 messaging standards.
  • Project management experience (Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Proficiency in corporate actions processing platforms e.g., Bloomberg, Euroclear, Clearstream, DTCC CA Web, SWIFT messaging, and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Deep understanding of global securities markets, custody operations, and regulatory frameworks (SEC, FCA, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (DTCC, ISDA, SWIFT) and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks related to corporate actions processing.
  • Implement robust controls to reduce errors, financial losses, and reputational risks.
  • Resolve complex corporate actions issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams (Trading, Custody, Fund Accounting) and external clients.
  • Address client inquiries and ensure seamless communication on corporate actions events.
  • Partner with Technology teams to enhance automation and straight-through processing (STP).
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new corporate actions platforms.
  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
