About The Position
We are looking for the services of a Volume Counter who will report to the Route Measurement Officer, to collect information on mail carriers' routes. Do you take pride in serving the community? Requirements
- Grade 10 or Secondary 4
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong listening skills
- Basic knowledge of mathematics
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lb)
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 hours between 6 AM and 12 PM
- Attention to detail, punctuality, professional conduct
- Ability to collaborate with others and follow instructions
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing offices for volume count
- Count letters and oversized mail in mail carriers' bags in bulk and record the quantity in a logbook
- Complete route sampling forms to obtain information from mail carriers
- Weigh mail for delivery by mail carriers
- Assist with analysis, using a calculator
