About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Volleyball Instructor to lead our 6th-8th grade program. This role involves teaching fundamental volleyball skills and strategies to young athletes in a fun and engaging environment. The instructor will be responsible for planning and executing engaging practice sessions that foster skill development and sportsmanship. This is a part-time position with classes held on Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, running from October 7th to December 9th.

Requirements

Experience in teaching or coaching volleyball.
Strong understanding of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies.
Ability to effectively manage and engage a group of middle school students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Must be available on Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Must be available from October 7th to December 9th.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with youth programs.
Certification in coaching or first aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct volleyball classes for 6th-8th grade students.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on volleyball skills and techniques.
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
Provide constructive feedback to students to aid in their skill development.
Manage class time effectively to maximize learning opportunities.
Communicate with program coordinators regarding class progress and any concerns.
