About The Position

i9 Sports is seeking an energetic Volleyball Sports Coordinator to create a fun, organized, and positive experience for young athletes and their families. This role involves partnering with volunteer coaches and referees, supporting game-day operations, and ensuring every player has a great experience. It's an ideal weekend job for teachers, coaches, college students, former athletes, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and sports.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience playing and/or coaching volleyball preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Comfortable leading groups and taking charge when needed.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with kids.

Responsibilities

• Lead volleyball practices using provided practice plans, with support from assistant coaches.
• Teach and demonstrate volleyball fundamentals, skills, and sportsmanship.
• Direct assistant coaches and delegate responsibilities to ensure practices run smoothly.
• Support volunteer coaches during games.
• Oversee game-day operations for your assigned sport.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, and coaches.
• Create a fun, safe, and organized environment for every athlete.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
