About The Position
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a passionate Volleyball Coach to join their team. This role involves positively impacting the community through athletics, helping children reach their potential, setting age-appropriate goals, and changing lives within the Y community.
Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area- volleyball!
- Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention
- Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability
Responsibilities
- Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
- Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
- Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
- Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
- Provide excellent service to members and participants.
