About The Position

Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive Control Inventory framework across the organization. Partner with business stakeholders to document, assess, and standardize controls. Execute risk and control assessments while supporting ongoing operational risk activities. Identify control gaps, recommend remediation plans, and support uplift of the control environment. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and structure to risk and controls initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Risk & Controls, Operational Risk, or Control Governance. Specifically in a Volcker compliance.
Proven experience building or enhancing control frameworks and control inventory programs
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and control gap analysis
Ability to operate independently and take ownership of initiatives with minimal oversight
Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive control implementation
Experience working in fast-paced or transformation environments with evolving control needs
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage senior stakeholders
Familiarity with regulatory expectations and industry best practices in risk management

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing governance structures or control testing frameworks is a plus
