About The Position

VoIP is becoming a critical system of record for our customers—often as important to their business as their EMR. It’s how they communicate with, grow, and serve their customers, and it will increasingly become a core part of the PatientNow platform. We’re looking for a VoIP Product Manager to take ownership of this critical product area and help define where we go next. This is a highly cross-functional role that will serve as the product quarterback for VoIP, connecting Sales, Onboarding, Support, Engineering, and leadership to ensure we’re solving the right problems and executing effectively. You’ll bring both strategic product thinking and strong operational execution to a fast-moving, competitive market. You’ll identify gaps before they become customer escalations, establish clear priorities, and build a roadmap that strengthens our VoIP offering and differentiates PatientNow from established competitors.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product management, product operations, project management, or a related role, ideally in SaaS, communications, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of VoIP, UCaaS, communications, or contact center products.
• Experience taking products or features from discovery through development and launch.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to create alignment across teams without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong customer mindset and ability to translate customer problems into clear product opportunities.
• Ability to operate strategically while also diving into the tactical details needed to get things done.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where processes and priorities are still evolving.

Responsibilities

• Own the VoIP product strategy and roadmap, balancing customer needs, market requirements, business impact, and technical considerations.
• Serve as the central product partner across Sales, Onboarding, Support, Engineering, and leadership, creating alignment and clear ownership.
• Develop a deep understanding of the VoIP market, competitive landscape, customer needs, and core functionality required to compete with established providers.
• Proactively identify product gaps and define a plan to address feature parity, usability, reliability, and competitive differentiation.
• Own and prioritize critical VoIP workflows, including number porting, workgroups, contact center functionality, app navigation, regulatory requirements, and other foundational capabilities.
• Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements, user stories, priorities, and execution plans for Engineering.
• Partner closely with Engineering to drive initiatives from discovery through launch, ensuring requirements, dependencies, and timelines are clear.
• Work with Sales, Onboarding, and Support to identify recurring customer pain points and ensure issues and escalations are surfaced, prioritized, and resolved.
• Establish the processes and documentation needed to close organizational gaps and create a more predictable customer and internal experience.
• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, competitive developments, and operational trends to inform roadmap decisions.
• Help define what we need to build to win and unseat incumbent VoIP providers within our SMB customer base.
• Communicate product priorities, progress, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
