About The Position

The Piano Place, Utah's largest music lesson school, is seeking passionate musicians to join their team as Voice Teachers. This role offers flexible scheduling, a fun work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package. The admin team handles all business operations, allowing teachers to focus solely on instructing students. The position also provides opportunities for ongoing training, career development, and engaging performance opportunities for both students and teachers.

Requirements

• Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
• Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
• Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike
• Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
• The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
• Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress
