About The Position

At DataForce, we are seeking professional male and female voice talents for 2 projects involving narrative voice recordings to support the development of text-to-speech (TTS) technology. Selected voice talents will be presented to our client for consideration for 2 different TTS projects each requiring 3-6 hours of scripted audio. Recordings will be completed through our proprietary recording platform, Media Director. Project Mulberry will be used in the creation of a TTS voice capable of narrating audiobooks, and will include a separate buyout fee and an Assignment of Rights Agreement. Project Silkroad will be used as data for training and testing existing TTS models, and will not include a buyout fee as voice cloning is not included. Compensation, including recording fee and a buyout fee (if applicable), will be discussed with shortlisted candidates and confirmed upon selection.

Requirements

• Professional recording experience
• Idiomatic fluency in the target language: English (US), Spanish (US), English (UK), German (Germany), French (France), Spanish (Spain), Italian (Italy), Polish (Poland).
• Good English communication and comprehension skills
• Age 18+
• Ability to record in a professional-quality home studio or access to a professional recording studio
• Wired microphone
• A 30–60-second voice sample in WAV (.wav) format
• A narrative delivery style
• Voice only (no background music or sound effects)
• The sample must be recorded entirely in the target language you are applying for

Responsibilities

• Provide narrative voice recordings for text-to-speech (TTS) technology development.
