About The Position
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking native English-speaking men aged 55 and older in the United States for a remote voice-recording study. Participants will use their smartphones to record short wake-up phrases and scripted commands, similar to those used with voice assistants. This study aims to improve speech recognition and voice assistant technology by helping to develop bias-free technology that represents everyone. The task is completed remotely from home in a quiet indoor environment and takes approximately 30 minutes.
Requirements
- Are 55 years of age or older.
- Were born and currently live in the United States.
- Are a native speaker of English (US).
- Have a smartphone.
- Can complete the recordings in a quiet indoor environment.
