Vocational Trainee: Warehouse (Fall 2026)
About The Position
The Vocational Trainee role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment, and to support/promote the student's career goals through contact with professionals in their field of study. The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Volvo Group by working on important and innovative projects. Vocational Trainee positions are structured learning experiences where students and our full time professionals work together on projects within their selected organization. This allows students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and Volvo (BA/BU).
Requirements
- Student must be currently enrolled in school and have interest in the production environment
- Student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
- Must be at least 17 years of age

Responsibilities
- Prepare orders
- Process order requests
- Pack boxes
- Mark and label stock
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Create detailed inventory reports
- Assist in unloading trucks and checking in products
- Sort items according to organizational standards
- Lift heavy objects
- 5S – Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
