About The Position

Vocational Specialist MDX Global, Inc. | Full-Time | $25- $27.00 per hour MDX Global is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Vocational Specialist to join our team. This unique position combines business development, project coordination, and employee support and supervision. This is more than a traditional business development role. At MDX Global, the relationships you build and the opportunities you create have a direct impact on meaningful employment for adults with developmental disabilities. Requirements

• Experience in business development, job development, vocational services, sales, recruiting, workforce development, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence reaching out to businesses and developing new professional relationships.
• Strong organization, initiative, and follow-through.
• Supervisory, training, or coaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with local businesses and pursue new contract work opportunities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing business partners.
• Coordinate incoming projects, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Oversee and support Packers while they complete assigned work.
• Monitor workplace safety, work quality, productivity, and project completion.
• Support Packers in developing strong workplace skills and habits.
• Track business outreach, projects, and work activities.
• Proactively pursue new business opportunities during periods of limited production work.
