About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is seeking a full-time Vocational Aide to join their Adult Vocational Program in Clinton, MA. This program provides social, physical, and skill-building opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, including on-site activities and community-based employment. The Vocational Aide will be responsible for designing and implementing programs focused on health, fitness, and nutrition, facilitating vocational and educational work assignments, supporting individuals within the program and in the community, and contributing to the development and monitoring of client treatment plans and goals.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
Valid Driver's license is required to travel to community sites and partner organizations

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Human Service related area of study preferred
Experience preferably in a vocational or educational setting

Responsibilities

Facilitate and oversee vocational work assignments tailored to the skills and interests of program participants.
Provide direct support to individuals during program activities and when participating in community-based experiences.
Accurately record data related to client progress, program participation, and outcomes.
Collaborate with the program team to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals, ensuring that they align with the needs and aspirations of each participant.
Assist individuals in participating in community activities and work experiences that promote vocational skills and social inclusion.
Work closely with other staff members, case managers, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to client care and support.
