About The Position

Responsible for booking reservations, selling upgrades and travel protection, collecting on delinquent balances, and providing customer service for owners of Vacation Traveler Packages. As a VOA Customer Service Representative, you will interact with trial owners in a mostly outbound and occasional inbound environment. You will assist guests in upgrading and buying Vacation Traveler packages, handle the first interaction with Vacation Traveler Owners attempting to resolve delinquency, and work with trial owners to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce cancellations. You will also maintain the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) standards and departmental procedures, and consistently meet metrics and goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Six months to one year of customer service experience is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and resolve any challenges that may arise with Owners of Vacation Traveler packages
  • Strong time management skills to remain organized, work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain a patient and courteous tone with Owners

Nice To Haves

  • Call center, hospitality or timeshare experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
