PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters). As an Assembler you will be responsible for a multitude of manufacturing functions. You will assemble parts into engine components (subassemblies). You will also inspect, and package diesel engines parts.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of air/hand tools
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge in reading and interpreting prints
- Demonstrate skills in Numerical Computation, Mechanical Aptitude, Problem Solving, and Reading Comprehension
- Demonstrated good attendance record
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctions
- Perform adjustments
- Repair subassemblies, as needed which have been found defective
- Manage all material and components used within their assigned area
