About The Position
The Vivarium Facility Technician I assists in the care of laboratory animals and in the maintenance of the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) Vivarium (aka Viv Facility).
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform job duties required.
- Trained in animal husbandry procedures preferably including experience in maintaining athymic rodents.
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance of rodents experience preferred.
- Certified Assistant Laboratory Technician Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists in the care of laboratory animals.
- Assists in the maintenance of the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) Vivarium.
