About The Position

Kohler Co. is hiring a Vitreous Process Cell Operator for its Pottery division at the Kohler, Wisconsin manufacturing location. The role is an onsite manufacturing position focused on processing and handling vitreous ware, operating production equipment, and covering different work areas as needed. The posted schedule is third shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with occasional mandatory overtime as needed. Compensation is $27.95 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour shift premium.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Ability to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling; the position requires handling up to 50 pounds.
• Must be clean-shaven to wear a respirator when required.
• Must pass the global aesthetic test and be PIV certified.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
• Consistent attendance and work performance.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and handle vitreous ware.
• Make epoxy repairs.
• Operate robot spray booths and pressure cast machines.
• Load and rework pieces, pack products, and operate dryers.
• Move ware buggies.
• Float between roles and provide coverage where needed.
