Basic Visual Quality Inspector - Byhalia, MS (1099 Contract)
About The Position
Pro QC International is seeking a Visual Quality Inspector for a 1099 contract role in Byhalia, MS. This position involves supervising and performing sampling inspections of packing stations for heated gift box assemblies, checking for correct items and packaging accuracy. The inspector will also monitor automated defect-detection cameras, correct errors or escalate them, and enter inspection data into an iPad. The role requires excellent physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, up to 12-hour shifts. No heavy lifting is involved. Candidates must be flexible with shift schedules, as the client may change them. This is a contract role with a project duration from ASAP to September 2026, subject to client needs.
Requirements
- Basic tech literacy (data entry on iPad).
- Ability to monitor automated inspection/defect-detection cameras.
- Experience handling basic digital devices (tablets/iPads) for data collection.
- Excellent physical stamina.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts).
- Must be able to travel to Byhalia, MS 38611 and nearby areas.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in production, packing, kitting, or assembly environments is preferred but not mandatory.
