The Visual Merchandising Specialist reports to the Assistant General Manager and assists store leadership with merchandise presentations, planogram integrity, visual and seasonal displays, and in-store signage. This role also works with Base Camp Visual Managers on all aspects of in-store visual projects. The specialist will ensure that company brand standards are maintained at the highest level and will be a key team member in the planning and set-up of local and major retail events. They will be a key liaison to the Base Camp Visual Merchandising Team regarding department layout validations and opportunities for improvement. The role is responsible for the assembly of small-scale vendor-provided displays, ensuring daily that in-store displays are clean, signed, and set to brand standard. Additionally, the specialist will assist in training and educating department Outfitters regarding merchandising skills, VMD execution, and navigating the Sharepoint communication portal. Must be comfortable using a computer, navigating online communication portals, and possess a basic working knowledge of Microsoft programs. Flexible hours, including before and/or after business hours, are required.
