About The Position

Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City. The Department seeks a self-motivated, highly organized individual for this position. Kravet Inc. maintains 40 corporate showrooms in North America.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Ability to manage records and inventories
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel & Word
• Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the fabric, furniture and/or interior design industry

Responsibilities

• Placing and tracking showroom sample orders for furniture, fabric, casegoods and accessories on our internal ordering system
• Follow up with manufacturers regarding orders and production time
• Coordinating freight/transport of showroom sample furniture, casegoods, rugs and accessories
• Overseeing deliveries to regional receiving warehouses and showrooms
• Working with a variety of vendors, sources and variables to meet installation deadlines
• Managing records of projects past & present
• Maintaining inventories
