Visual Merchandiser - Pentagon City
About The Position
The Visual Merchandiser creates eye-catching presentations of current fashion trends and supports the store’s visual merchandising program. The role builds knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and trends, partners with department managers to uphold and teach visual standards, and supports merchandising, signing, and implementation of direction while adapting it to the store as appropriate. The position also installs and removes trim and window presentations for promotional events and supports execution of the in-store lighting program. Hours and schedule vary by week based on business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other miscellaneous tools.
- Computer proficiency and comfort learning new computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.
Nice To Haves
- Basic construction skills in building and assembling visual props are preferred.
