This role provides visual merchandising training and support to ensure maximum sales potential. Key responsibilities include merchandising fixtures, shelving, hardware, and grids, as well as merchandising floors by category, sub-category, function, and color. The role also involves training on building displays and strike tables for promotions and weekly ads, and transitioning departments for seasons, including the proper placement of new arrivals, older merchandise, over-stocked merchandise, and markdowns. Additionally, the Visual Merchandise Coordinator oversees store conditions with the General Manager, ensuring the cleanliness of store fronts, interiors, fixtures, and wrap stands, and the proper storage of all visual props, fixtures, and hardware. Maintaining displays, including themed displays and seasonal windows, is also a key function. Visual Merchandisers may also be required to work the sales floor in all departments.
