The Visual Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for providing visual merchandising training and support to ensure maximum sales potential. This includes merchandising fixtures, shelving, hardware, and grids, as well as merchandising floors by category, sub-category, function, and color. The role also involves training on building displays and strike tables for promotions, transitioning departments for seasons, and managing the placement of new arrivals, older merchandise, over-stocked merchandise, and markdowns. Additionally, the coordinator oversees store conditions with the General Manager, ensuring cleanliness of store fronts, interiors, fixtures, and wrap stands, and proper storage of visual props, fixtures, and hardware. Maintaining displays, including themed displays and seasonal windows, is also a key responsibility. Visual Merchandisers may also be required to work the sales floor in all departments.
