About The Position

This position is responsible for changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management. The role involves developing ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations, and arranging properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories. The Visual Merchandiser will provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on product placement and assist with arranging each bay to promote all products effectively, with a specific focus on promotional items. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 20 lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Ability to work at heights and operate a scissor lift.
Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.

Nice To Haves

Experience and/or education in interior design preferred.
Positive attitude when working with customers.

Responsibilities

Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
