About The Position

Hillpointe is hiring a Visual Media Specialist to capture and produce photo and video content across the property portfolio. The Visual Media Specialist shoots and edits finished, brand-aligned content, working on-site in the model-unit studio and traveling frequently to communities across the portfolio. Reporting to the Creative Production Director and taking prioritization through the Director and Creative Project Manager, the Specialist produces four core content streams: learning media for L&D, marketing materials for Property Marketing, social content for Property Operations, and serialized brand-building content for YouTube. As the first capture hire based at the Hub, this person is a self-sufficient generalist who owns their work from shoot through final delivery.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in videography, photography, and editing.
  • Proficient with professional cameras, drones, gimbals, audio recording gear, and lighting setups.
  • Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
  • FAA Part 107 drone certification required (or must obtain).
  • Strong eye for composition, lighting, and pacing.
  • Able to manage multiple shoots, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently to properties.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, or lifestyle content.
  • Photography strength across interiors, lifestyle, drone, and event.
  • Motion graphics skills beyond the basics.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project-management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary videographer and photographer for the property portfolio, capturing on-site at the Pointe Grand Hub model-unit studio and on-property in the field.
  • Direct all aspects of production: camera operation, lighting, audio, staging, and subject coordination.
  • Operate drones for aerial capture in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations.
  • Use the on-site model unit as a controlled content studio for staged, lifestyle, and product content, and as a set for filming learning media.
  • Edit footage to polished, brand-aligned final deliverables across all content streams.
  • Work in Adobe Premiere Pro with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent; apply basic motion graphics.
  • Maintain visual consistency and adherence to Hillpointe brand guidelines across all output.
  • Keep organized file structures and hand finished assets into the team's delivery pipeline.
  • Produce training and onboarding video for the Learning & Development team, often filmed in the model-unit set.
  • Capture marketing photo and video assets that support leasing and property marketing.
  • Create ongoing social content for property operations teams.
  • Shoot and edit episodes of serialized, brand-building YouTube content, produced to concepts set by the Director and brand team.
  • Take assignments and priorities through the Creative Production Director and Creative Project Manager.
  • Partner directly with the Hub's L&D, Property Operations, and Property Marketing teams to scope and deliver their content needs.
  • Follow the Director's process for model/property releases and music/stock licensing on every shoot.
  • Use Monday.com for project tracking, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Travel frequently across the property portfolio for on-site capture, scheduled in efficient blocks; the Hub is home base.
  • Work independently in the field, managing multiple shoots and deadlines across communities and job sites.
