About The Position

As a Visual Manager, you will lead the visual merchandising strategy and execution within the store, creating an engaging and inspiring shopping environment that enhances the customer experience and drives sales performance. You will oversee all visual presentation standards, lead merchandising initiatives, and partner with Store Leadership to ensure brand consistency, operational excellence, and commercial success. You are a creative and strategic leader who is passionate about retail, visual storytelling, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You have a strong eye for detail, understand customer shopping behaviors, and can translate business objectives into impactful visual presentations that maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Passion for retail, golf, sports, fashion, and an active lifestyle.
  • 3+ years of visual merchandising experience, including leadership responsibilities within a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead visual merchandising programs that drive sales performance and enhance customer engagement.
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles, visual presentation techniques, and customer shopping behaviors.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to achieve visual and operational objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze business performance and adapt visual strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency with planograms, merchandising directives, and retail operational processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical merchandising activities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of Golf Town’s visual merchandising standards, ensuring consistent brand presentation throughout the store.
  • Develop and implement compelling visual displays, mannequin presentations, feature areas, and promotional executions that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Manage all new product launches and seasonal floor sets, ensuring timely and accurate execution according to visual directives and merchandising plans.
  • Partner with Store Management to develop visual strategies that support sales goals, key business initiatives, and inventory management.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer traffic patterns to optimize product placement and visual presentation.
  • Coach, train, and develop store associates on visual merchandising standards, presentation techniques, and brand expectations.
  • Lead the planning and execution of seasonal merchandise transitions, promotional events, and store refreshes.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained through regular store walks, audits, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations teams to support company initiatives and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused sales floor while ensuring compliance with all Golf Town policies and procedures.
