Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is currently seeking applicants for a Visual Inspector. Job Location: Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of visual microscope inspection experience required
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to sit and inspect product through microscope for up to 8 hours/shift
  • Ability to use and read basic inspection and metrology tools including micrometers and calipers
  • Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret dimensional drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, and outlook)
  • Ability to product quality work under pressure and at times in a fast-paced environment
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Responsibilities

  • Performing accurate visual inspection of raw materials in accordance with customer drawings, workmanship standards and specification requirements.
  • Operate measuring equipment to verify product's dimensional accuracy
  • Perform accurate computer transactions within ERP system
  • Conducting visual inspection to verify fine detail work
  • Documenting and reporting inspection findings and results
  • Reading and interpreting acceptable standards and quality requirements
  • Other responsibilities as required
