About The Position
Acuren is seeking API Visual Inspectors (510/570) to join our team for our Fall Outage in the Fort McMurray area. Position Information: Fall Outage Outage Duration: August 17, 2026 - October 2026 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada Camp provided
Requirements
- Must have minimum API 510, 570
- API 653, 936, ABSA In-Service, & CWB Certifications are an asset
- Boiler experience would be considered an asset
- Ability to verify and accept material
- Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
Responsibilities
- Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
- Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
- Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
- Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
