About The Position

Vantor is forging the new frontier of the spatial intelligence category. Our platform turns what satellites and sensors capture into ground truth that governments and companies act on, from orbit all the way down to the dirt. Being the leader comes with a creative mandate: we get to decide what leadership in this industry looks like. That is the job. Push the brand further, raise the bar, and make work the rest of the category ends up chasing. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be one of the first hires in a brand new in-house creative team, working shoulder to shoulder with the Creative Director on everything the brand touches: identity, campaigns, product stories, events, film, and the design system that holds it all together. The foundation exists. Your job is to build on it, sharpen it, and take it places we have not thought of yet. Give us a fragment, a reference, a rough idea, and come back with something better than what we imagined. That is the role in one sentence.

Requirements

  • Serious experience as a brand designer or art director, ideally building brand systems rather than just executing campaigns inside them.
  • Fluency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite. These are your daily instruments.
  • A portfolio with range and a visible brain behind it.
  • Comfort in ambiguity. Early-stage direction does not scare you, it is where you do your best work.
  • Taste for restraint. You know the difference between design with intent and decoration with a glow effect.
  • Ambition. You want to help build a department and a body of work, not occupy a seat in one.
  • To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort with JSON and structured data files, 3D, things like design tokens, Lottie files, or data-driven design systems.
  • Motion or video chops.
  • A soft spot for technical and diagrammatic design traditions: cartography, engineering drawing, wayfinding, the beautiful nerdy stuff.

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from the Creative Director and run with it.
  • Build on ideas, do not just reproduce them.
  • Design across the whole brand: identity systems, campaigns, sales and product work, web, motion, events, and presentations that actually get remembered.
  • Get in early on concepts and stylescapes. We want your ideas at the sketch stage, not just your polish at the end.
  • Build design systems in Figma that hold up as the team and the work scale.
  • Move fluidly between Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, from loose exploration to finished, shippable craft.
  • Help build the department itself. Work with our contractors today, help us grow and onboard the team of tomorrow.
  • Bring a real point of view and put it on the table. We want a creative partner, not a pair of hands.
