About The Position

As part of the Studio & Content Production team, the Visual Content Specialist supports end-to-end visual quality across all content production workflows, including both AI-generated and traditionally produced imagery. Serving as a key creative authority and QA lead for our brand’s visual content, you will ensure all outputs—from photography and styling to digital content and post-production—meet SSENSE's quality, brand, and commercial standards. Operating with day-to-day autonomy as an individual contributor, you will proactively monitor and troubleshoot any quality anomalies to ensure consistent, stunning visual representation across all digital and physical channels. Additionally, you will support in accelerating the onboarding and training of creative teams on new AI-assisted workflows and tools to minimize departmental quality risks.

Requirements

• College Diploma in Photography, Graphic/ Visual Design, Visual Communication Studies, Art History, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience across at least two image production disciplines, including image production and design.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and maintaining quality standards across both traditional and digitally generated visual content.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with AI-assisted creative tools, virtual content production platforms, or emerging image generation technologies is an asset.
• Experience in fashion and/or e-commerce is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual quality standards across all content production workflows, including photography, post-production, virtual styling, AI-generated content, and emerging image creation technologies.
• Act as a key QA authority, ensuring all outputs meet SSENSE's visual identity, styling standards, and commercial objectives while guiding teams through daily onsite reviews.
• Apply cross-functional expertise to identify quality risks, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions across both traditional and AI-assisted production pipelines.
• Support in building evaluation frameworks and quality benchmarks for AI-generated imagery, virtual styling outputs, and other evolving content formats.
• Collaborate with Production, Creative, Styling, and Technology teams to improve content creation workflows, tooling, documentation, and operational scalability.
