The Visual Arts Instructor II works within a team environment to develop and implement creative, age-appropriate programs for Strathcona County in the areas of painting, printmaking, drawing, fiber arts, sewing, paper crafts, contemporary art interpretation, and games. This posting is for 2 hourly positions based out of Gallery@501. This position reports to the Visual Arts Programmer at Gallery@501. The programs you may support in this position include: Regular registered programs at Gallery@501 occurring Mondays, Wednesdays 8:30am–12:30 pm and 1:00-3:00pm and Tuesday or Thursday evening classes from 4:00pm-8:30pm. School and Community Group programs at Gallery@501 occurring Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30 am – 3:00pm. Occasional weekend mornings and/or afternoons (Gallery birthday parties). Summer, Fall and Spring Break camps occur Monday– Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
