About The Position

The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Specialist will, under the general direction of the classroom teacher, assist in the reinforcement of fundamental and advanced techniques pertaining to visual and performing arts (VAPA); perform a variety of administrative tasks for visual and performing arts programs; develop various types of supplemental and specialized materials for classroom and administrative use. This position is assigned a specialized subject-matter focus in Art. Requirements

  • Graduation from high school, supplemented by visual and performing arts courses, and four (4) years of directly related experience, preferably in a school environment.
  • Related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of the application.
