About The Position

Responsible to provide guided historical tours of King Ranch. Learn the history and current operations of King Ranch. Required to be able to recite an oral history of King Ranch on historic tour. Conduct tours of King Ranch by providing accurate and interesting information to our guests. This position requires conducting a mock tour presentation that would be evaluated by supervisor, peers and archivist and meeting all tour guide standards/requirements. Possess excellent customer service skills and be courteous and welcoming to guests. Ability to operate a small passenger bus or large van in a safe manner. Be able to work flexible schedule including some weekends. Be able to represent King Ranch as an ambassador with pride in the position. Understand and comply with posted work rules, procedures, and polices of the VPS and King Ranch Inc.

Requirements

• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Be courteous and welcoming to guests.
• Ability to operate a small passenger bus or large van in a safe manner.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Possess good language skills (bilingual preferred but not required)
