About The Position

This is a full-time Visitor Security Control position located at Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC. The role requires a SECRET clearance and involves staffing and operating the visitor check-in desk, performing visitor control and badging, and managing information within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). The position also includes providing customer service, maintaining contractor staff information, and ensuring adherence to security procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Defense Information System for Security (DISS) training/certifications.
• Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures.
• Customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage contractor staff information.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to provide accurate directions to visitors.
• 1 year of physical security experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Physical Security program concepts and theories.

Responsibilities

• Staff and operate the visitor check-in desk during duty hours.
• Perform visitor control and badging functions in accordance with Army physical security policies.
• Verify visitor access and manage information within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Provide accurate directions, customer service, and support to all incoming personnel.
• Maintain and update contractor staff information.
• Ensure adherence to security procedures and support audits or inspections as needed.
