About The Position

Katrina Sparks is currently a GRC student from UChicago that works in my lab. She won an NSF graduate fellowship, so the purpose of this assignment is to convert her position to visiting graduate student. Katrina's PhD thesis work is developing iontronic neuromorphic devices. At Argonne, Katrina will utilize the CNM for lithographic patterning and electron microscopy. In the AMD Functional Coatings Group labs, Katrina will perform atomic layer deposition and sample characterization.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
  • Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
  • Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform atomic layer deposition and sample characterization in the AMD Functional Coatings Group labs.
  • Utilize the CNM for lithographic patterning and electron microscopy.
