About The Position

A Visiting Scientist position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Lieberman at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Research in the Lieberman laboratory centers on understanding how cancer-associated viruses persist in a latent state and increase the risk of cancer and autoimmune disorders. The lab focuses on two human tumor viruses, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and Kaposi’s Sarcoma Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV), and how they persist in a latent state and drive carcinogenesis or autoimmunity. Requirements

PhD (or equivalent) degree or close to obtaining their doctoral degree.
Experience in virology, molecular biology, cell biology, or functional genomics.
Highly motivated candidates.
