About The Position

The Visiting Scholar will conduct business ethics research and collaborate with Romney Institute faculty regarding ethics. The role also includes occasional classroom and faculty presentations. The successful candidate must relocate to and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment. Applicants must submit an updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and a one-page Mission Alignment Statement. The statement should address BYU's mission and AIMS of a BYU education; members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should also address the specified faith, testimony-building, and teaching expectations. Employees must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards. Members of the Church must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend. Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the university's academic and religious missions.

Requirements

PhD in a related field, obtained by the position start date.
Experience in business ethics research, including publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and participation in major business ethics and society conferences.
Relocate to and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
Abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
New employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
