The Norman Lab, housed in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, is seeking a Visiting Researcher with deep expertise in genome graph construction and interpretation, complex genomic architecture of the human MHC, and de novo DNA sequence assembly. In this role, the researcher will design, optimize, and maintain advanced algorithms for assembling sequences within the human MHC genomic region and apply these computational methods to large‑scale disease association studies. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact research at the intersection of immunogenomics, computational biology, and human disease. Visiting Researcher position is a full‑time, two‑year appointment with the possibility of extension depending on funding and program needs.
