About The Position

Anderson College of Business and Computing invites applications for a temporary, three-year position as a Visiting Professor, with a start date of August 1, 2026. This full-time position will be on a 9-month contract. The selected candidate is expected to teach six courses each academic year and have an active research agenda. Successful candidates will show potential for excellent teaching and noteworthy scholarship in their discipline. Applicants with knowledge and experience in the areas of economics, engineering, innovation studies, regional development, technology management, or a closely related field are preferred.

Requirements

  • PhD or DBA in business technology management or a related field.
  • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
  • A research agenda that demonstrates currency in the discipline.
  • Ability to design, develop, and teach management, leadership, and organizational behavior

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and teach courses at the undergraduate level in both the day-time semester format and online or evening formats.
  • Maintain currency in the field of technology and management through scholarship such as peer-reviewed publications, presenting at conferences, and other scholarly activities. Candidates should meet SA (scholarly academic) expectations of four intellectual contributions within the preceding five years. Recent doctoral graduates will have up to five years to meet these expectations.
  • Conduct service to the college and university which includes attending department meetings, serving on college committees and supporting students.
  • Conduct service to the community, profession and/or discipline which may include serving on editorial boards, participating in industry groups, and being a journal reviewer.
