About The Position

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Mathematics & Statistics. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract. Successful candidates must have a strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to mathematics, statistics, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise.

Requirements

  • At least a master’s in mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Education, or related area, with at least 18 graduate credits hours in mathematics or Statistics

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to mathematics, statistics, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise

Responsibilities

  • Teaching 12 credit hours per semester
