Management (AI) - Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor

About The Position

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology invites applications for a full-time Visiting Faculty position in the Management program, with a focus on AI. This is a 4-4 teaching appointment designed for a dedicated educator who values direct student engagement and contributes to a vibrant academic community. This is a one-year, non-tenure track appointment with a Fall 2026 start. The successful candidate will play an integral role in delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student development, and contributing to the continued growth and excellence of the Management program. This individual will deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas including Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, and Organizational Behavior.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABD will be considered)
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in university-level teaching
  • Evidence of the capacity to contribute to high-quality research in the candidate’s discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Research, work experience, or other evidence of strong interest in AI
  • Service contributions & leadership related to AI, to include support for initiatives at the program level (e.g. MBA), within the Department and College, and across the University
  • Relevant professional business experience
  • Experience developing courses, revising curriculum, and effectively utilizing online and digital learning platforms
  • Background in academic program growth, including curriculum planning, faculty collaboration, and new course or program design
  • Strong commitment to student-centered education, including mentoring and advising graduate students
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience guiding students through admissions processes, academic planning, and progression toward degree completion
