About The Position
The Political Science Department at Salisbury University is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor for a one-year appointment with the opportunity for renewal. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Political Science (ABD near completion will be considered)
- Undergraduate teaching experience
- Demonstrated expertise in the comparative politics and international relations of the Middle East and North Africa

Nice To Haves
- Ability to teach lower-level American politics courses and a research methods course.
- Ability to teach courses with a thematic focus on gender politics, ethnic politics, international political economy, international law, normative political theory, and/or environmental politics.
- Experience with high-impact teaching practices and with program leadership.
