About The Position
Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science position. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut, approximately 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The Political Science department is looking for a visiting assistant professor for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role involves teaching four courses per semester in American public policy and/or politics, as well as teaching quantitative or qualitative methods.
Requirements
- PhD in Political Science
- Broad expertise in American policy and politics and methodology
- Ability to teach quantitative or qualitative methods
