About The Position
This is a one-year appointment with the option of renewal, beginning January or August 2027. The position involves teaching Core Curriculum courses in written and/or oral communication, with a teaching load of 12 contact hours per term, and mentoring students. All classes will be taught in person at VMI. This is a full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor of English role.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in English or Rhetoric/Composition required
- Teaching experience
- A professional interest in Rhetoric and Composition
