About The Position

The University of Tampa's College of Arts and Letters (CAL) is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor in Communication and Media Studies. CAL is a dynamic environment where theory meets practice and expression meets experience, guided by talented artists and distinguished scholars. The college offers a wide range of studies from fleeting snaps to classic literature and is home to eight collaborative academic departments. As a community of scholars and artists, CAL engages in cutting-edge creative work, technological innovation, critical scholarly practice, and dialogue with diverse communities. Faculty and students utilize emerging technologies in state-of-the-art facilities such as the Ferman Center for the Arts, Bailey Art Studios and FabLAB, Falk Theatre, Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values, and Cass media production facilities. Requirements

• Master's Degree and at least 18 credit hours in the discipline.
• College teaching experience.
