Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Child Transporter is responsible for ensuring the safety of the children in care and providing supervision while children are being transported. This role is also responsible for the daily care and conditions of the transport vehicle, ensuring the vehicle is free from debris, maintaining vehicle upkeep, and operating all agency vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. The position requires living out and supporting the mission and core values of GAP Ministries, practicing servant leadership, communicating with care, showing respect, taking responsibility, acting with integrity, working as a team, and maintaining a hopeful, encouraging attitude. The Child Transporter must also honor GAP Ministries’ Code of Conduct and Ethics and faithfully protect the privacy and confidentiality of those served in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
