Requirements

Insurance verification experience required
Experience with Microsoft products: Teams, Excel

Responsibilities

Enter new patient information
Verify patient information of all agency records
Assist with filing, scanning and answering phones as needed
Perform pre-certification on patients and communicate with clinicians as needed
Work with intake department as needed to expedite scheduling of new patients
Maintain confidentiality of all agency records
Other responsibilities as assigned
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Work collaboratively with other teams in the department to ensure a seamless workflow
Maintain proficiency in insurance verifications forms, protocols, procedures, websites and proprietary software
Perform insurance verification phone calls and web-portal tasks as needed
Participate cross-functionally with pre-certification tasks as needed
