Sets up, programs, adjusts, and repairs manufacturing vision systems. Uses a variety of sample parts and techniques to ensure bad sample closures are rejected and records data into a computer system. Responsible for ensuring that all vision programs for each line match the production schedule. Works with machinery suppliers to troubleshoot any major mechanical or electrical problems that cannot be solved internally. Reports daily performance/issues on a vision check form and communicates with the oncoming technician any changes, problems, or issues with the line(s). Works alongside maintenance technicians on PMs/Maintenance repairs. Performs other maintenance duties as assigned. On-call support.
